Electrolysis - Permanent Hair Removal

Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal approved by the FDA.

There are three methods of Electrolysis: Galvanic, Thermolysis, and Blend.  I use Thermolysis.

Precaution measures:  Because your health and safety is very important.

An Autoclave is used for sterilization.  Multiple procedures for disinfection and sanitation are used in the treatment area.  For your safety, I work with gloves and mask using disposable probes.

What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis was invented in 1875 to remove ingrown eyelashes.

Electrolysis is the process of permanently removing hair by means of electricity. It has been used for more than a century and is proven to be the only method which is able to remove all types of hair (black, white, red, blond) from all types of skin and any age over 15.

How does Electrolysis Work?

Hair Follicle A hair follicle is a mass of epidermal cells, extending down into the dermis, forming a small tube, where a fine small sterile needle is gently inserted to the base of the largest part of the follicle, the bulb. It is a thick club shaped structure that forms the lowest part of the hair root. The lower part of the hair bulb fits over and covers the derma papilla. The derma papilla, a cone shaped elevation at the base of the follicle fits into the bulb. The papilla is filled with tissue that contains the blood vessel and cells necessary for hair growth and nourishment of the follicle. The electrolysis treatment destroys the hair growth tissue which results in permanent hair removal.

What is the Galvanic Method?

Galvanic Method uses direct current (DC) which causes chemical decomposition of the hair follicle.

What is the Thermolysis Method?

Thermolysis Method utilizes high frequency, alternating current (AC) to produce heat, which coagulates and destroys the hair follicle.

What is the Blend Method?

Blend Method combines both Galvanic and Thermolysis methods, sending current through a fine needle, destroying the hair follicle.
